I was expecting a full on computer with an operating system and use of flash, not a giant Ipod touch. That being said, it is still a pretty cool looking gizmo.
I like it, but I’m struggling to understand what it’s identity really is? Is it supposed to replace the laptop? Like Nick said, it looks like a giant ipod touch, or a giant iphone. Can someone enlighten me?
Yeah I agree with the three posters above. I am an apple junkie, but there doesn’t seem to much utility to this device. Either get a laptop, or an iphone. I think the description above “giant itouch” is appropriate. I won’t be purchasing.
I like the big screen size and it really all depends on what you can do with it. I don’t know how web browsing is on the iPod Touch or iPhone, but if the page isn’t made for mobile use, it’s a real pain on the Env Touch. A bigger screen would make those much better. You’ve got a portable movie player and an eBook Reader, with more functionality than most of those devices offer. The price isn’t so bad for an apple device, but really for something that large you would expect much better memory, and more laptop like functionality. I guess for that size, you would have to have a case, or man purse. If you add a chain and a clock app, it could be a nice upgrade for Flav a Flav. So it’s not as simple as putting it in your pocket. It has it’s uses, but considering all the net books and cheap laptops, this could be a bust.
If I ever buy one of these, I am also buying a Star Trek the next generation costume to wear while I use it. Then all I need is a space ship and some klingons to fight, and my childhood dreams will be realized.
What do you make of the contract offer to Matt Jones and the work out of Pacman…
My thoughts are this is just another cheap way out for Mike Brown and he can say he went after people in Free Agency.
Im all for second chances, but Pacman is on his 8th chance, I think his career is over, he wasnt that great in Dallas.
As for Matt Jones, hes big and fast, but hasnt done much in the NFL. I guess league minimum why not give him a shot. But, I would rather go after an impact player whos proven, ala Brandon Marshall, instead of wasting our time on these guys’.

I’m trying to understand that myself….I’m not buying it to read the local newspaper. Looks like it would be a pain to hold for a long time.
