Just still feeling gutted by Chris’ passing. The Moutaineer Nation loved Chris even when others were doubting him. Long live Chris’ memory and long live the Mountaineers!
Jason, make sure you take good care of the Christmas ornament, and when you look at it, you’ll remember the incredible player Chris was. Lynne and I are still in shock about this. God must have needed a good deep threat on his team for the playoffs.
Dave,
That was a different “Jason” who posted that up top.
But we do still have the ornaments. The Henry one will stay up forever now, in honor of Slim. We are still in shock as well, i’ll always remember that deep ball he caught in the playoffs, the hope he gave us that day. So disheartening to see this happen, as much as we follow the bengals, as do you, in times like this, it feels like i knew him personally and i didnt. Again, remember him for his talents, and how he changed his life around, the video/interview on cincinnati.com is living proof of how humble, quiet he was, and you can obviously tell he was headed down the right path.
Go get your Henry jerseys, and make sure you wear them to the final home game~!
Again R.I.P. Slim.
Jason, I got a great picture of him a couple years ago at training camp, while he was walking down the rope line to practice. He always seemed like he wasn’t really sure what all those people were there to see, kinda like “pinch me” or something, you know? But he came across as a very polite guy which is what I think was who the person behind the curtain really was. Glad you still have the ornaments, Lynne will be pleased! Tell Tim hope his foot is better.
John:
Ron E, the Bengals traditionally keep 6 WR's on the active roster. I don't see that changing unless they go with two receiving TE's and two blocking
Josh:
I'd much rather have McClain than Spikes. If Spikes really does run a 4.90 forty then not sure he can be a 3 down player and the LB's other than Bran
Brian P:
I don't see the Bengals drafting a receiver until the 3rd unless the value is too great in the 2nd round (i.e. someone falls).
Ron E:
You figure the Bengals keep 5 WR, and have Ochocinco, Bryant, Caldwell, Cosby, Jones, Simpson, Brown. With Jones, Simpson, and Brown all being long sh
Patmo:
I know that people are excited because Bryant is a replacement for Coles who was ok but underachieved imo. However, I see him as a replacement for Sli
