I mean, I guess they have to suspend her but I like the aggressiveness. I’ve refereed plenty of girls games at all ages, the hair pull was a red card but most of those highlights they were showing over and over on sportscenter really weren’t bad at all. And her kicking the ball at the other one’s face, 100% legit. The referee is the one that sets the standard for how chippy you’re allowed to get, if he doesn’t make the calls when it gets rough then its only going to get rougher.

Not a soccer fan. I am an American. I think that was ridiculous unsportsmanlike conduct. New Mexico chick should be suspended for at least a few games. Legarrette Blount punches a guy and is out for a season and this girl gets a yellow card? Come on. Brandon Spikes intentionally goes for eye gouge suspended for a half? JT I would hate to know what happens in the bottom of those piles in the NFL.

This kind of thing is all part of playing futball. The team getting beat on clearly does not know how to properly execute a “dive”. You get a little bump, and go down like a sniper shot you from the stands. Cry, moan, roll around on the ground until the “offending “player gets carded. It stops things from getting to the “hair pull”. Soccer 101.

if every game is like that, i might be the newest soccer fan.
in all seriousness…wow. a lot of that was dirty play, but who’s to blame for it getting to that point? refs should have put out the fire before it spread to the hairpull, and i would think the coach would pull the player if shes intentionally trying to hurt other players.
and, to the NMstate player….YOUR’E ON TV!!! did you really think no one would catch what you were doing? come on
