Here’s 20 solid minutes of BCS talk between Charles Fisher and myself. Check it out. Let me know who your top 5 BCS teams would be if you had to rank them. Charles gave a good case for some lesser know teams, I stuck to the powerhouses. Better quality this time…haha.

Haha, can’t believe I just watched you two bullshit for twenty minutes. I agree with you about spreads, kinda streaky but whatever how else can a non traditional school compete except by making matchup problems with the spread. How can you say Oregon St is a garbage win but that WVU will be a good win? Come on man! I know Oregon upset USC but Oregon St only trailed by one score at USC. Whats with all that Oregon love, we’ll see what happens in that Civil War game. TCU hanging with Texas???? I’d have to see that to believe it.

BS? That was good good convo
Oregon State is your best win? You happy with that? Yes WVU will be a good win because its in conference and WVU has good players and the rest of the college football world sees that as a tough mtchup for UC. As well as Pitt. Oregon is playing well rught now. Thats why they get my love. College football rewards who is hot and they are. Small schools that play weak teams shouldnt be rewarded IMO. They can pick and choose when they get up to play. Top dogs in big conferences have to bring it every week or lose.:)

I can’t say I disagree with you, schedule is weak. Growing up in the nati you play against or with a lot of guys in high school that end up bearcats so its hard not to be a homer. If WVU is a tough win for us then we are in big trouble. I need to see that 3-4 hold up against the run game, like at Pitt, before I say we’re good enough to go against the big boys like Alabama or Tex. Charles was right I’m sad to say, last year’s orange bowl showing was pretty pathetic they weren’t ready for the big stage but BK didn’t deny that, he said he had a three year plan for Cincinnati, and now its the third year and we’re in the hunt for national championship. I’ll take WVU serious once you ditch that head coach

…and Oklahoma comes to Paul Brown Stadium next season so we won’t have to be talking about weak schedules.

Really enjoyed that,John .You guys remind me of the odd couple
. Those hats are just plain ugly btw
.
Yeah, I like Fla @ 1 and Oregon @ 2 . Texas and Ala have good defenses but I question their offenses. You seem to like Ga . Tech . Triple option =’s too many turnovers and stalled drives .
Lots of good D’s near the top but mediocre O’s . If they get behind early they’re in trouble.
Boise and TCU ? Don’t know. TCU has a leading D but who have they played ? Boise beating up on everybody but the same scheduling problem.
UC ? Very good top 10 team . Pitts running game is going to give them big trouble. UC’s D is suspect in the middle but their D is very fast .They could give anybody trouble. Hoping to see them win out then we’ll see how good they really are.
