Lebron and Jay-Z after the game
The Cleveland Cavaliers escaped being closed out by the Orlando Magic last night in the NBA Playoffs. I have to say, I was rooting for the Magic. Orlando looks to be the better team in this series. They come back from 20 point deficits like it’s nothing, they get more production from their role players, and they have more than one go-to guy who can deliver. But Orlando didn’t have enough killer instinct to put the Cavs out of their misery last night, and the Cavs came back and won the game. Now the Cavs have a better shot to win the series despite being down 3-2. Orlando has the pressure of winning at home in game 6 or the series will go back to Cleveland for game 7. If that happens, the Cavs will probably win and move on to face the Lakers. Even though that will be a better series than Magic vs Lakers, the underachieving Cavs need to play better. Winning these last two game will be tough, but now they have a shot. Orlando just made it a series again.

Enjoy the talent of the players . Especially Lebron. Love the intensity of the playoffs . Totally different than the regular season . I don’t know how these guys play 100 games or more per year . Cav’s weakness….too dependent on James . But his talent, speed, stengnth and desire to compete are far superior to anybody on the court. The guy is a modern day ” Big O ” .

I think the dependancy on James is the coaches fault. They put themselves in situations where they need him to bail them out. If they would just put LBJ on one of their best players on the defensive end from the beginning, Orlando wouldn’t be coming back from 20 pts on a regular basis. The team needs to keep the other players involved and expend James’ “saved” energy on the defensive end.

Yeah…almost!
Crap it seems every team i go for falls flat on their faces and it sucks!!! Lebron kept this team up for the first 5 games by himself but just couldnt do it in game 6. The Cavs came out flat in this series and were down rite awful! and the sad part is the Cavs still had the bset record in the playoffs at 15-4 but its now how many u win its when you win them and Lebron just didnt have enough to carry the team himslef for a whole series.
I have to give credit to the Stan Van Gundy and the Magic, they came out with a gameplan which was perfect one and only way to beat the Cavs- Defensivly: Let Lebron do his thing but shut down the rest of team especiallty Mo, knowing that Lebron cant win a whole series buy himslef and Offensivly: Give it to Howard, Give it to Howard, Give it to Howard then kick it back out for the 3. 62 3s in a series!!!
Im a HUGE Cavs fan and im crushed at the moment but give credit where its due.
and as the saying goes and its especially well known in Cincy – “there is always next year”
GO BENGALS

It’s 2am and I’m still trying to swallow this one! I think the cave better start getting to work on bringing big time players to Cleveland if they want lebron to stick around for example jermaine oneal wud be a great fit….lebron ain’t resigning with this team unless he fly thinks they can win it all

My money says the real reason Cleveland makes it to the finals is because it makes for better ratings. Orlando has been the better team, but I’ll wager that Dwight Howard will foul out of the next two games fairly early giving LBJ a clear path to the hoop, the finals, and the championship. Whether he goes to the Knicks next season or starts buying the Cavs for himself is the bigger Q for me.
I could be wrong, but I think the calls will go LBJ’s way…too many Kobe/Lebron commercials ruined if the Magic get any further.

Ok, that was dumb. Post that if you want, and I’ll eat my words. I’m actually glad, because I love the way Dwight Howard plays – I really hope the media picks him up as a bigger star than he’s been (SI cover notwithstanding) and gives the Magic the credit they really deserve.

That picture sums it all up…Jay-Z (the self proclaimed Black Branch Rickey) along with Bruce Ratner will be bringing the Nets to Brooklyn in 2011-2012; they will become the Brooklyn Ballers and they will sign Lebron…trust me…would love to say heard it here first but this is pretty much common knowledge…say goodbye to Bron Ohio this was your year.

Don’t know if you’re a hip-hop fan but the arguably best current rapper made a song about the arguably best hoops star. What makes it great is that he rhymes in first person in most of the song…

I’m still here man
Just on Blogging vacation. i will be soon, working on a few things. I was encouraged by Chads comments. I knew this would happen, thats why I was miffed when some of his teammates and fans spoke out against him a few weeks ago. Hopefully Chad comes back and has a great year. The Bengals need him if they want to make the playoffs this season.
