Is he eligible for the NFL Draft?

April 1st, 2009 | NFL

He plays in the NBA right now, but he could still have some football in him.  Maybe the “Wildcat Package?”

I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed watching a player perform as much as I’ve enjoyed watching Iverson play basketball. He might not be the greatest teammate, he might not have any rings but, pound for pound, he’s one of the best athletes I’ve ever seen. I remember Kentucky recruiting him to play basketball until that unfortunate bowling alley incident. I was so disappointed. Thanks for the video, John.

Coming right out of HS probably…a legit program would’ve beefed him up but duralbility would be an issue as it has been in his basketball career. But wow…what an athelete.

There was a special on him and Aaron Brooks and Ronald Curry and Michael Vick and their HS battles sometime ago that was pretty good.

  • JT: Yes he has. He's a very good interview when not talking to local media. Nobody challenges him on that here :)
