I did a little podcast about the whole Alan Cutler v Billy G video that is running on the Internet.  I had a great debate/conversation with a reader yesterday about this topic.

JT,
We are getting close to the start of OTA for all football clubs. Is there a chance you are hanging it up? Are you waiting til the preseason starts and a team calls after an injury? What is the right opportunity?

Thanks for the concern. I get asked that question a lot, but I don’t have an answer to it right now or at least one I can say. I have an idea what I’m going to do, but I’m in no rush to decide either way. I am exploring a few oppurtunities while I let the football thing play out and thats fun. I have played 10 years so missing the start of OTA’s is not a problem. My guess is that once teams target their guys in the draft, things will become more clear. Teams have cap room so its just a matter of both sides wanting it to happen.

Oh, I wouldn’t wait until the preseason. I would decide way before then. I would be 260 lbs by the preseason :)
