TJ says he’s nervous

February 27th, 2009 | NFL

Before heading to bed early Friday morning, I happened to catch ESPN’s Sportscenter Special. They were talking to TJ Houshmandzadeh on the telephone. He said he was nervous. When ESPN’s Mike Hill asked him why, TJ said, “I don’t know.” TJ said he had been texting his agent back and forth and wanted to know where he would be heading. He also said he wanted to know if he was going on a visit to another team and he was bringing his wife and kids or was he going to be going by himself. Then the guys at ESPN asked who he wanted to play for and TJ named a few things he wanted in his next team. He mentioned that he wanted to play for a certain style of coaching. He wanted a team with a good OL, and a good running game. The teams he mentioned were the Eagles, Giants, and Vikings. TJ said to imagine him and Adrian Peterson on the same team.  At the end TJ said that he is so nervous that he may pull an all nighter.  When asked about the Bengals, TJ said that he and Carson talked all the time and he wasn’t sure if he would be able to reach a deal with Cincy.

The Giants just barley beat the Bengals last year. The Eagles coud not beat the Bengals less Carson Palmer. The Vikings does not have a QB that can get the ball to TJ.I vote that TJ stay right where is.
